The very first year of the international online conference for dog lovers and dog trainers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia took place on March 6th and 7th, 2021. Among the guests were eight experienced trainers from the Czech Republic, France, Australia and the USA. Every ticket included access to a 75 minute course from American dog trainer Emily Larlham aka Kikopup focused on the coexistence of several dogs in one household.

Jean Donaldson

Jean Donaldson has written well-known books on modern dog training, including Culture Clash: A New Way Of Understanding The Relationship Between Humans And Domestic Dogs, Fight!: A Practical Guide to the Treatment of Dog-dog Aggression, and It's mine! A Practical Guide to Resource Guarding in Dogs. She founded a coaching academy more than 20 years ago. At the MET conference, the famous American trainer compared classical and operant conditioning.

Radecha Spudilová

Radka Spudilová once worked at a veterinary hospital and has been training dogs for the last 13 years. Her current focus, however, is the practice of voluntary cooperation of dogs during treatment. She will present this topic in her lecture, which will be useful for dog owners, trainers and caregivers.

RNDr. František Šusta

František Šusta worked as a zoo trainer before he switched to working with dogs. He trained by positively reinforcing behaviors in species of animals that tolerate mistakes much less than a dog. He has written several books and is a member of international animal trainers' organizations such as IMATA and ABMA. His motto is: Training is an interview. In the lecture he will present the concept of his upcoming book.

Grisha Stewart

Well-known American trainer and founder of a coaching school that specializes in dog reactivity. Grisha has written several books on dog behavior. As part of her lecture, she will present her own BAT method focused on reactivity, which more than 100,000 people already use with their dogs.

Nicole Vošvrdová

As a doctoral student at the CULS, Vošvrdová searched for trees infested with fungus using dogs. In 2020, Vošvrdová and her dog became the first in Central Europe to receive the highest certification in this field and also opened a new course. At the MET conference, she will talk about nosework.

Cristina a Aurelién Budzinski

This French couple certified by the famous trainer Turid Rugaas focuses on examining a dog's natural behavior by measuring heart rate. This scientific study can help reveal a dog's emotions and tendencies. The duo has presented their research everywhere from the USA to Taiwan and will describe their results so far at the MET conference.

Jennie Harvey

This Australian trainer has completed Turid Rugaas’ courses and will present her innovative “sniffing garden” project at the MET conference. The so-called snuffle gardens are spaces specially adapted to dogs’ needs. These gardens can help reactive dogs calm down, improve mental stimulated and deepen the bond between dogs and owners.

Robert Zlocha

Robert Zlocha is behind the MET conference and has created complex online training course. At the MET conference, he will address a topic that his clients ask about very often - leash pulling - and present an interesting approach to finding a solution.
